This Coupe was restored to be a wonderful touring and show car. With its new crate 350 V8 installed back in 2003, Edelbrock intake manifold and an Edelbrock carburetor it drives beautifully down the highway! The radiator and cooling fan are made by Walker and the Coupe has a Vintage Air air conditioning. The GM 350 transmission shifts strong and is tied to the Ford 9 inch rear end. The front end has been dropped slightly and features front disc brakes. The new BF Goodrich Silvertown wide whitewall tires look sharp and perform well for better handling and safety. All modifications were professionally engineered and done very well. The car has been a California car all its life. This is not your typical bondo bucket but a great solid car that has been enjoyed for years. The Barcelona Blue paint is in very nice condition with only a few minor chips. The chrome and stainless trim are all in very nice condition. The overall cosmetics are very nice and the car is ready to show at local and regional car shows. The interior looks very original and correct. The auxiliary instrumentation is there to supplement the original instruments. Also, a tachometer is easily visible on the steering column. The materials used for the interior are of high quality and give it a real authentic look to this resto rod. The mohair fabric is in overall nice condition and is integrated with a Glide seat that has tons of leg room (as well as headroom) for taller drivers and passengers.
