1995 Corvette Convertible Dark Purple Metallic LT1 350 4-Speed Auto ***Please see clarifying information below regarding vehicle report This is a 1995 Corvette Convertible LT1 350 with a 4-speed automatic transmission My wife and I purchased this Corvette in May of 2013 from a middle-aged couple in Sacramento, California. The car was driven primarily by the lady. The car was her "Baby" and based on service records, she did not hesitate to take it to the shop each and every time it needed service, including regular oil changes. The reason she parted with it is because she purchased a newer Vette. My wife and I (also middle-aged) flew to Sacramento to purchase the car and drove it back to Washington State via The Redwoods. The trip home was approximately 750 miles. We did a one night stay over in a Hotel and when we headed for home the following day we drove approximately 16 hours. The car did awesome, never skipping a beat and the gas mileage was incredible! Although we spent most of the 16 hours in the car that day, my wife nor I experienced any road fatigue whatsoever (and I have a bad back). The car truly is a pleasure to drive and ride in. Within 6 months of purchasing the car, I ended up having to have back surgery. Since then I have difficulty getting in and out of the car so have decided to sell it so that it can be driven and enjoyed by a new Owner. The couple we purchased it from kept all service records and receipts. I have also kept receipts for the purchases I've made. All records and receipts will given to the new Owner at time of delivery. The exterior color is called Dark Purple Metallic. There were 4,971 Corvette convertibles produced in 1995, of those only 1,049 were done in the Dark Purple Metallic. It's a beautiful color in person and one that I've received many compliments on it. The top is beige, the interior beige and black. When I purchased the car in May of 2013, it had 112,443 miles on it. It now has 114,095 miles. The State of California Certificate of Title for the car shows actual mileage on July 14, 2002 to be 64,937. It last passed California Emissions Enhanced Smog Check Inspection at 112,211 miles Condition Body/Paint: Body and paint are in good condition with the exception of the Hood. Top of hood around headlight area has some minor damage. Per previous owner she bumped into the base of a light pole in a grocery store parking lot (see pictures). Tires: 4 New Nitto Tires NT555 Extreme ZR, Rears P285/40ZR17, Fronts P255/45ZR17. There's approximately 400 miles on the tires. Wheels: Excellent condition with new Center Caps. Top: Beige top in good condition with normal wear for age. Interior: Beige leather seats, black dash, black and beige door panels. Beige Carpeting with Corvette Floor Mats. Interior is good with normal wear. Driver and passenger seats show normal wear for age of vehicle and mileage. There is a little more wear on the Driver seat (see pictures). Includes factory Delco Bose Gold Series CD/Cassette Stereo system, Power Antenna, Power Driver and Passenger seats, Factory A/C-Climate Control, Cruise Control, Tilt Wheel, Power Heated Mirrors, Rear Window Defogger. Engine Compartment: Very clean and well maintained. It has new original GM Fuel Rail Covers. Mechanical: Engine and drivetrain have been well maintained. New GM Transmission at 86,198 miles. New Water Pump at 109,047 Miles. New Brake Master Cylinder at 103,280 miles. New Lower Ball Joints and Left Outer Tie Rod at 97,084 miles, New Engine Mounts and Rear Bushings Trans-axle O Ring at 78,769 miles. New GM Radiator at approximately 96,000 miles. New fuel injectors. Uses Mobil 1 Factory Fill Synthetic Oil. I have service records from previous owner for work performed. The car will comes with a new car cover. Although I've put less than 2,000 miles on the car since purchasing it in 2013, I know of no mechanical issues with the car. It has ran like a top for me on both short and long trips. Based on my conversation with the previous owner, and the service records that came with the car I believe that this car has been loved and very well cared for. ***Clarifying Information regarding the Vehicle Report:I do have the clean/clear title to this car. I was concerned when viewing the vehicle report attached to my auction as it relates to lien information on the car as well as a possible problem related to odometer rollback/tampering. Regarding the lien information, I called DMV Customer Service on 8/27/2015 and confirmed that the title is in fact clean/clear with no liens against it and no lienholder. Regarding the odometer flag on the vehicle report attached to my auction. I have a CarFax Report for the same time period that the auction report shows as having a odometer discrepancy. The CarFax report shows no discrepancies or warning regarding odometer issues or readings. Additionally, I ran report off a federal government website: http://www.vehiclehistory.gov/nmvtis_consumers.html. This agency receives licensing information as well as other information pertaining to vehicles directly from the various states within the U.S. The report I ran from one of the governments approved reporting companies shows no odometer flags/discrepancies for my car.
