This is a very nice example of a survivor '53 Studebaker "Low Boy" Champion Starlight... The 3/6 speed transmission comes with the Borg Warner Electric/mechanical overdrive in every gear, which makes this a 6 speed tranny... It is a rust free very solid body with an engine that starts right away and runs very smoothly and quietly. Some times it is hard to tell if it's running. The paint is older driver quality and would best be described as South Florida Art Deco Green. (By me anyway) There are no rips or tears in the upholstery and the floor is carpeted... The radio is not working at this time but it comes with the Philco "Owners Manual of installation and operation"... The lights, wipers, turn signals, heater, defrost, all work. The passenger door lock came out but I have several to send with the car. (I'm selling all my 8 car collection and just don't have the time for all the little fixes)... Comes with Coker Vintage white wall tires...The previous owner, judging by a paper I found, had to have owned it for at least 24 years and took really good care of it... This car runs and handles like when it was new car... You'll love it... Also comes with copies of the original "production order" ...a 350 page comprehensive Shop Manual,,,a 40 page owner's manual,,,17 page Dealers Accessories advertising pamphlet,,,original Studebaker color chip chart... I am moving to SE Asia and selling all my car collection on Ebay...
