2002 Chevrolet Prizm The Chevy Prizm is the twin model of the Toyota Corolla. Most of engine parts and under-hood components were built by Toyota. Overall, this is a solid car mechanically but in fair cosmetic shape. The car drives well and has provided good, reliable and economical transportation. Both engine and transmission run with no problems. I purchased the car in 2005 and have been driving it since. I have experienced no major problems and it has needed only a few fairly minor repairs in the past 10 years. No accidents or warning lights. Current Mileage is just under 107,200 Fuel Economy: Approximately 30 MPH A few known issues but nothing that requires immediate attention: Rear left wheel is slightly bent may need repair or replacing Slight grumbing sound at very low speeds with A/C on (but car has been doing this ever since I've had it) Rust around wheel wells (see photos) Cosmetically, the car has various scratches on the exterior. Some of the clear coat is also starting to fade on the front passenger quarter panel (see photo). Interior is in generally good condition but has some minor scrapes, rips, etc. Overall, it's a solid car with many usable years to go, in my opinion, and probably good for someone who wants reliable, lower-cost transportation and doesn't mind the looks too much. Car is available for inspection in the Annapolis, MD, area. Possible delivery of vehicle can be made to limited areas in the Annapolis, Baltimore, and Washington, D.C. areas.
