The car received an off the frame restoration in 2003. I have driven the car everywhere since the restoration, no trailering. The transmission is a 700R4 transmission with overdrive and lock-up. This is a show car, not a race car. It has never been on the drag strip nor raced on the street. I don't do burn outs. This car weighs less than 2800 pounds and has over 500 horsepower. The engine has 7,689 miles since rebuild. It was professionally built by Savannah Racing in Savannah, GA using forged pistons and forged I-beam rods. Internally balanced engine. ARP bolts. Compression ratio is 8.5:1. Ignition is controlled by a MSD Boost Timing Management 6 box and MSD Blaster coil. The polished BDS 671 blower provides 6 pounds of boost. Overall compression is 12.1:1. Uses pump 97 octane gasoline, racing fuel not needed. A Comp cam and roller rockers were installed. The new tires have less than 1,200 miles wear. Tires were bought in 2013. The blower has been on the car since 2002 with no problems. Power assist drum brakes front and rear. Vega box manual steering. Frenched-in rear licence plate holder with 3rd brake light. Two extra brake lights under the rear bumber for added visibility. I am also including a painted glove box door and glove box liner so that the radio can be relocated. $32,000+ of receipts are included with several specialty parts catalogs. The complete motor and blower cost over $11,000. Chopping the top cost $3,200. The mirror polished stainless steel firewall another $500. The Viper Red paint, clear coat and other supplies cost over $2,500. You will not find another car with these features this cheap. I drive this car to shows within 150 miles one way and have never had a problem. The car is very dependable. The cam is tame at low rpm's and easy to drive. The blower provides normal torque and horsepower at low rpm's and quickly increases when you push hard on the accelerator. Watch the videos with the sound turned all the way up. Inside the car is quiet at idle. You only hear the blower inside the car when you are accelerating hard past 3,000 rpm.
