Thousands and thousands of dollars and many, many hours were spent on the custom build of this one-of-a-kind V8 Vega. This Vega V8 Coupe still retains it's FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Chevrolet VIN tag and it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - cowl mounted Chevrolet data plate, both of which are shown in pictures below. I drove this BEAST for the last several days as my everyday driver to and from the office and running errands as needed and it ran and drove GREAT, TOO FUN !! This car has been a NICE - DRY - SOLID - Washington State - Idaho High Mountain desert - western vehicle and boy does it show !! Sounds GREAT too with the - LOUD - "Throaty" - true dual performance exhaust system !! The motor is backed by a SMOOTH - 3 speed TH-350 - "Turbo Hydra-Matic automatic transmission that features a Performance street / strip shift kit and also functions very well. Power is fed to the rear wheels through a BULLETPROOF Chevrolet 10-bolt posi-traction rear end. All of the ORIGINAL light lenses and reflectors are still clear, bright, UNCRACKED and BEAUTIFUL!! All of the ORIGINAL chrome and electroplated exterior body trim and moldings are also in VERY NICE condition including NICE ORIGINAL aluminum bumpers, VERY NICE ORIGINAL steel hood with an added custom functional fiberglass ram air hood scoop and VERY NICE ORIGINAL badging. All of the black rubber weatherstripping is soft, supple and is in great condition. This car is an outstanding cruiser or driver for your local cruise night, show-n-shine or grudge race !!
