1929 Ford Model A Closed Cab PickupLast auction ended so close to the reserve!Bid to win this time!! This 1998 Antique Automobile Club of America Senior winner features a Brewster green cab and bed over black fenders with hand painted pin stripping. Clearly restored to a high standard, every component was inspected, rebuilt or repaired as needed. New panels were installed and a solid oak bed was fabricated. Paint is beautiful with a deep shine. Babied once the restoration was completed and kept covered in closed storage it still is fresh. Some folks asked about the door alignment during the last auction. All '29 Ford Model A cars and trucks had doors that overlapped the "B" pillar, making them look misaligned. That is the case here, as the door is aligned per spec plus it opens and closes like a bank vault. Located in Beachwood, NJ it runs strong and shows well with only tiny bumps and bruises. Photos were taken over several days after a light cool soap and water rinse. Nothing was polished or buffed to show the truck as it is. The front mounted tool box can be easily removed and the alternator should obviously be a generator. It was installed in pinch and can easily be swapped out as the system remains 6 volt. Owned by a professional mechanic, it starts right up with good oil pressure, drives, steers, stops without any funny noises. Actual mileage is unknown.The Ford script Boyce MotoMeter shows she even runs cool even on the hottest day during parade duty! It doesn’t have a heater or radio. I’m listing this for a friend, so…….
