1966 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE 427 4SP Most likely this will be my last try to sell this wonderful Corvette on eBay at least for a while. A unnamed Corvette dealer has offered to sell it for at least $58k before they take their cut. I have the reserve price much lower then that for this last run on eBay. I will not respond to requests asking what the reserve price is and I will not end this auction early. You are welcome to come out and look her over and I will consider any offers made if the reserve is not meet after the auction has ended. If two offers of the same amount are made and I am willing to accept it, I will contact the buyer that made the offer first. Up for sale is a 1966 Corvette Convertible with the original matching big block 427 390hp engine and matching number manual 4sp. This is a true from the factory Rally Red (Code 974) Corvette Stingray with black interior and white top. This Corvette has side pipes and knock of wheels. The knock off's are true knock off's not bolt on but I do not believe they are original. High end car cover is also included. Beyond being a true Big Block Stingray with factory Rally Red exterior, this Corvette also has Power Brakes and Power Steering along with the stock Power Antenna and rare telescoping steering wheel. The clock and radio is also original and in great working order, in fact everything works on this Corvette except the odometer (speedometer works just fine). New battery just installed and new tires with less then 200 miles along with new carpet. The interior is near perfect. The exterior paint, engine bay and chrome is driver quality and would need to be redone to bring it to top flight status. The engine runs strong with no smoke on start up and can still tear the rubber off the wheels as it should with its 427 Big Block. There is some oil leaks and power steering leaks but nothing that requires immediate attention. More then likely the small leaks is due to sitting. The underside is rust free and we have a lift so you can inspect the underside at our home. A little about us: We have been on eBay for over 15 years and we sell new items for the C4, C5, C6 and C7 Corvette's. This Corvette along with the "Bulldog" a 59' Corvette (also up for sale) have been with me for many years. We are not a Corvette dealer for complete cars and these are my personal Corvette's. We are moving to a new home with only 3 garage bays so I have let go of Kicks or the Bulldog to have room. The wife hopes it is the Bulldog I hope it is Kicks that sells.
