Vehicle Detail
I have a 1972 Ford Ranchero 500 which is customized. I am getting older and must thin out my herd, so I need to sell it. I purchased this truck in January, 2006 from a gentleman in Henderson, NV, and I believe that this a southwestern vehicle. This belief is confirmed by the nearly rust-free condition. There is only some surface rust on the frame. The vehicle has been stored indoors since I purchased it and never driven in the rain. I have only driven the truck an average of 268 miles a year since owning it. The Odometer read 66,492 when I bought it and reads 69,039 now. The following is a list of work that was done to the vehicle during the 2005 restoration and customization: - Front and rear side marker lights removed and filled.- Door handles removed and filled- Rear deck lid has all letters removed and filled.- New dash pad and headliner that match- Tach and oil pressure gauge installed in the dash- The bed is perfect, and the paint is as nice as the truck exterior.- Chrome hood hinges- Chrome rear deck lid hinges- Chrome bed tie-down brackets- Custom wheels - Front tires P235/60R15, Rear tires P275/60SR15- Headers with Y tailpipes, and FloMaster mufflers- Gas tank is painted same as truck- Rear suspension is painted same as truck- Front and rear bumpers were rechromed and are still perfect- The grill has been painted same as exterior as the truck. The following is what I have done to the vehicle since purchasing it:- Remote entry system, and also push button under the hood- Installed 3-way power bucket seats from a 1977 Ford Explorer.- Also installed a custom console The truck drives and handles just like a 1972 Ford Torina, and has power steering and brakes. It is a very comfortable ride.
