Up for sale is my 2002 Honda 1200fx Turbo Jet ski in need of repair. Here is the story. Last year we drove the ski all summer long with no problems. When winter approached the ski was winterized and placed in the garage. I received a letter in the mail from Honda about a recall on the fuel tank. So this spring I took the ski in to have the ski dewinterized and the fuel tank replaced. After several weeks the Honda shop informed me that after changng the oil and filter and replacing the fuel tank that it would crank and idle but cut off when the throttle was applied. Several codes appeared indicating sensors. The sensors were replaced. It still shows the same error codes after they were replaced. They said the next step was to replace the ECM computer which costs around 900.00 dollars. And there is no guarantee that it would repair the ski. Based on that information, we decided the best thing to do is to sell the ski. What really stinks is that over the winter I had the seats recovered and they are new. Also to let you know, the ski cranks and idles plus the compression has been checked and each cylinder is correct. It has under 200 hours on the ski. A one owner(me) Triton trailer and an OEM Honda cover round it out. Whether for parts or repair it is a good buy. Because of it's size it is local pickup only. I accept PayPal only.
