Chevy / Chevrolet 2004.5 2500HD Silverado pickup truck with Duramax diesel - Allison Transmission - LLY - 4x4 - Heated Seats - Dual alternators I originally bought this truck when new. I'm the company owner and bought the top of line truck when new. I ordered it with dual alternators, heated seats, and Bose sound system. This is technically a 2004.5 model, as GM (Sierra and Silverado) diesels got the LLY diesel duramax change mid-year. This is the same engine as the 2005 model. This is NOT the 2001-2004 engine with injector problems. Since I didn't know if it would have problems or not when new, I installed a secondary fuel filter when new as a precautionary measure. It is still there. and uses a Racor R60s filter. Wheels are teflon coated with 275 75 Michelin LTX MS/2 tires with good tread (last winter). Condition... as best as I can describe:This is not a pristine truck. It was my work truck and has the usual scratches, dings, etc. Aluminum box in bed and aluminum lumber rack. Driver's mirror blinker missing. New seat covers (not installed yet), as old had a tear. Plastic grill cracked. Rear bumper has dent. Driver's side headliner by door needs some glue. Hydroboost was replaced, but line has a tiny leak (less than a quart in 8 months). Local Chevrolet dealer replaced the Allison transmission a few years back and the receipt is in the truck.
