Vehicle Detail

Have you been looking for a good daily driver Chevrolet El Camino ? Then this is the one you may have been looking for ! 1979 Chevrolet El Camino "Conquista" model that has been repainted but used the factory color combination it came with. Only 60,920 "original miles". Purchased from a private party in 2000. I even have a fiberglass topper to go with it made by Guidon caps.Automatic TransmissionPower SteeringV-8 Engine !Power BrakesCruise ControlAir Conditioning (needs repair but all there)AM/FM RadioBench SeatFactory Floor MatsRear Air ShocksFactory Trailer Hitch - Class IExtra spare parts: Hub caps, heater core, AM/FM radio, etc. How is this different from other El Caminos sold ? The condition of this ride is better than immaculate. Not driven in WINTER ! I have stored this El every winter since it's purchase from a seller in the south. NO BONDO/FILLER ! If you take a magnet all around this car it will grab metal, not filler. Never been smoked in. Many of the chrome pieces were replaced with new after the paint job was completed. All the El Camino labels are new. Dashboard has NO CRACKS ! Seats have NO TEARS ! Rubber bed liner designed for this bed. New rubber all around, and yes, those are "whitewall" tires ! LOL That's how they came back in 1979 for young drivers out there. When the mag wheels were painted I sandblasted the old finish off first and then drove them IMMEDIATELY to the painter so that moisture could not attack the fresh stripped metal. There are two (2) coats of Clear Coat on the repainted finish. New Brakes/rotors have been put on in the past two (2) years, newer radiator, and the carburetor was rebuilt once. This is a "Daily Driver" as far as condition goes. It is not a show car, per se, but it's not far from it. But when I drive it on the street people do take notice. Nice mellow tone to the exhaust. If you purchase this vehicle you can DRIVE it home ! If you want to fly/drive/parachute to SE Wisconsin I'll pick you up and you can drive it home. I will work with your shipper (www.uship.com as a suggestion) but all costs to do so are the buyers responsibility. A $500 deposit is due within 72 hours of winning bid unless other arrangements have been made in advance. No warranties expressed or implied. Vehicle sold as-is. But feel free to compare this ride to others on Ebay. You won't be disappointed. If you have any questions or need additional photos please don't hesitate to ask and I will do whatever I can to accommodate your request. Good luck and happy bidding !On Jul-26-15 at 18:08:06 PDT, seller added the following information: Prior to the car being painted all the chrome trim, lights, grill, bumpers, etc were removed. All trim pieces were replaced with new factory attachment clips. On Jul-27-15 at 17:26:25 PDT, seller added the following information: I have added two (2) photos to the set. One of the engine and one of the camper shell top.
