Up for Auction is a true RARE Barn Find.1953 Cadillac Coupe DeVille Hardtop. This car has been in an indoor storage unit for over 25 years. I had to buy the whole unit and clean it out to get the car out. All original car and everything worksNothing cut or ModifiedAll floors solidFrame 100% Solid All glass is good and clear (no yellowing or cracks)Runs and drives just as it did in 1953 with 68,500 original milesTrunk load of extra parts upholstery complete- nothing missing or broke, just standard wear, some tears in seatsTires in good shape Basically this car seems to be all original except paint job which was done in 1970 according to a receipt found in trunk, with one previous owner. Paint and chrome is faded due to sitting in storage for so many years untouched. Most looks like it could be buffed up. Frame and under carriage is very nice and looks to be original undercoating. Does not need trailer to get it home---you can drive it home. I have driven the car over 100 miles, drives like new. Everything works including the AM radio. Only rust I have seen is in 2 small areas where the lower rocker meets quarter panel and it's not rusted through. Fitment is not great.
