1983 Plymouth Scamp GT same as Dodge Rampage but the Scamp was only made one year while the Rampage was made from 1982-1984 so the Scamp is very rare! Paint was originally red but was painted by a previous owner with a multi-color hue with a Forward Look graphic painted on the hood scoop. The interior is original but needs some work on the headliner which is coming down, the console is loose, the carpet has a couple holes, and the parking brake handle does not return to it's down position all the way. The radio and all gauges work fine. The body has a couple small dents and quite a few scrapes and scratches plus at some time the front fascia was pulled slightly from the drivers fender and will require some work. The bed, tailgate, rear bumper, and all glass is fine. The typical L-Body window scrapers are missing chunks and the floor has a few rust holes but the frame is fine. The suspension and tires are in good shape but the shifter has the normal L-Body worn bushings and the linkage will come apart sometimes when shifting. I have bought the Great Lakes shifter improvement kit which the new owner has to install, but it will cure all shifting problems! The clutch works but it at the top of it's travel. The carb will need rebuilt as it takes a while to start and runs rough when cold. The car is drivable as-is and I do drive it once in a while, but to be reliable will need a tune-up and the shifter linkage fixed. All in all this is a good example of a very rare car!
