Vehicle Detail
This Beetle has Shiny Paint , Brand New Tires , New Convertible Top , New Door Panels , New Carpet , New Seat Covers , New Headliner. The maintenance I had performed is.... gas tank removed and cleaned out , all new German braided fuel lines , new coil , carb rebuilt (fuel injection was removed by previous owner , carbs are much easier to work on) new points & plugs , new brake lines , new brake shoes . The new floor pans that were put in by the previous owner were welded over the old ones I think but you can't tell except from underneath. It looks like the underneath has been undercoated probably to prevent rust which this one looks good. I bought it from a man in Texas and I live in Georgia so no salt on her that I know of. It's got a pretty good little cd player with a remote and two small loose speakers I keep on the back seat for a better sound. It runs and drives real good . I bought this on Ebay for my wife who had a dream of owning one since a little girl , I paid $ 9,000 two years ago and when I went to drive it , it didn't drive or run like it should plus the brakes froze up ! It had been sitting in a warehouse for quite some time and the previous owner used it only in parades to advertise her business. So I put about $ 2,000 in it and fixed the issues to make it safe / fun for my wife to drive. So that's $ 11,000 I've got in her. One problem was it had low profile tires that were too wide ! It now has brand new tires which are the exact size that came on it P155/80R15. The car has no A/C its a convertible that we drove in the spring & summer. Also the heat is not hooked up. I don't know what that would cost but its probably not much. The only reason we are selling this Cool Ride is because we need the money to pay for our 18 year old son's mission trip to Australia & Papa New Guinea to work in a discipleship program with the aboriginals of Australia & Tribes of PNG. So in a way if you buy this Beetle your doing God's Work ! I am an honest person and I am describing this to the best of my abilities. There is no warrantee implied or given. If I left anything out it was unintentional. These vehicles are easy to work on and the parts are cheap too. The parts are plentiful ! The mechanic that worked on this beetle has been working on beetles for 40 plus years. He is a cool guy and if your local I'll give you his number in case you need him in the future . By 'New" I mean it was 2 years ago I bought this beetle and had the work done but it has only been driven maybe a couple dozen times since I bought it. It was driven just out and about locally. More people of all ages , genders & ethnicities gawked and asked about this Beetle than they did about my BMW M5 I had at the same time ! I have described this vehicle to the best of my ability. No warrantee is expressed or implied. You have 24 hours after winning the bid to make a $ 1,500 deposit into my paypal account & 2 days after that to pay the remainder by cash or cashiers check. I am very aware of scammers & criminals so if you buy this car and we meet it will be in a very public place of my choosing . This vehicle is for sale locally as well so be advised that it may sell before bidding ends. Good luck bidding ! good luck bidding !On Jul-14-15 at 20:27:17 PDT, seller added the following information: Reserve Price is $ thousands under what I have invested.
