Up for auction is a 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 2WD pickup project. The truck only has 136,894 miles on it which is less than 8,100 miles per year and is really low for a 17 year old truck. This truck is the SLT model and came factory equipped with the 5.2 liter/318ci engine and automatic transmission. It has power windows, power locks, cruise control, tinted windows and A/C. The interior is in good shape for the year, but the removable plastic dash bezel is broken and it is missing the radio. The tires are a matching set of 245/75/R16 tires and have about 70-80% tread remaining. The body is in good shape and has absolutely no rust anywhere. Now for the bad: The truck was being driven on a daily basis when it blew a radiator hose and overheated. It was towed to a local mechanic shop and supposedly repaired. Less than a week later it was still overheating so it was taken back to the shop and the mechanic started disassembling the engine to diagnose it and then told me it would have to be replaced so I decided not to put any more money into it and just sell it as-is. A complete replacement engine can be purchased here on eBay for under $600 with free shipping, so if somebody is willing to do a little work they can have a great truck for very little money spent in the end. This is a 17 year old non-running truck and is therefor sold as-is with no warranty. It has a clear Oklahoma title in my possession. A $500 non-refundable deposit is due by PayPal immediately after the auction end with the balance due by cash/cashiers check within 7 days of auction end. If paying by cashiers check, I will not release the truck or title until all funds have cleared my bank (usually 5-7 days) No bidders with less than 10+ feedback without contacting me first or I will cancel your bid and block you from the auction. I hate to have to be like this, but too many people on eBay like to play games and bid on items they either can't afford or have no intention of actually paying for if they win.
