This car has the look the VW lovers are after. The car had a restoration a few years back and has been driven to local shows and cruise ins on the weekends. It is reliable enough to be driven daily and hits the highway great. The paint and body is nice driver quality with a very solid body and pan. The color is a light grey and is accented by the dark grey wheels. The car does not have show quality paint but again nice just a little wear and tear from normal driving. The engine is a AE coded 1600 cc dual port with lots of add ons. The engine is optioned and detailed nice with a chrome shroud and lower filler panel, Empi serpentine belt drive with aluminum pulleys and a chrome generator, Pertronics Flame Thrower distributor and wires, Solex 34pict-3 carb, and a Scat air cleaner. The transmission is a 4 speed manual with an Empi shifter. The car was fitted with Empi 15 inch Raider wheels and Billlet running boards to complete the look. A dropped beam and dropped spindles give the car a great stance and a super ride with no dragging or tire rub. The interior is very nice and all new with orange tones. The carpet set is also new and has very nice floor mats. The dash is color matched to the outside of the car and is detailed very nice. The car has a new steering wheel also. The lights ,wipers,horn and speedometer are all in working order. A AM/FM/CD stereo was also neatly installed in the build.
