2001 Honda CBR

For sale is a 2001 Honda CBR929RR, red with black and white accents. Really a very nice looking bike, it has all original paint, just a few nicks that can be expected for a bike of this age. Has a clean Michigan title, I have not had the time to register it in my state. I have cosmetically redone many parts of this bike, only to find out that it will need some transmission work that our local shop didn't want to dive into at this time. I could try a few other places, but really just need to sell at this point. The only thing else that isn't nice is the square part of the dash, where the mileage reads (its looks worn under the glass, but very usable-I wouldn't replace). Things that have been replaced in the last few months: -New battery, grips, windshield, and driver's seat. Also has colored shorty handles. -New tires and chain. Oil changed last 300 miles with synthetic. -New rear brakes with modified disc. -I also changed out: rear tail (came with ugly black one), rear underbody and turn signals, manual switch for fan. Removed hideous led lights that were in different places on the bike (half of them didn't work), added rear seat lock, added some OEM original decals and stickers from Honda. -Comes with tool kit, owners manual, high quality center stand (from another bike, no bolts to hold this one), repair manual, and Suomy racing helmet )size L). This would be a great deal for a very nice bike for someone who's mechanical and can fix the clutch/transmission problem. It is rough shifting and won't shift past 4th gear. I wish I could detail the problem, but I wanted the potential buyer to know of the tranny issues. Please feel free to ask any questions regarding the RR before purchasing.
