Vehicle Detail
1977 FORD F-250 "EXPLORER" LONGBED PICKUP 1 OWNER SINCE 1978, 32 PAGE MAINT./REPAIR LOG Hello, you are looking at a very nice 77' f-250 that has been owned by 1 older owner since it was only 1 year old, vehicle was meticulously maintained and I have the records to prove it, with dates and miles displayed. Lots of money and time has been spent on this vehicle over time. Whenever something was needed it was done, "oil changes, tune ups, brakes, ect. Engine was replaced approx. 50,000 miles ago with a 400 cu. inch, bought directly from the ford dealer, Runs great!, start up very easy every time, just turn the key and go! maintainece has always been done on time.Automatic tranny has been rebuilt 13,000 miles ago, shifts fine. Truck has AC, but doesn't blow cold. Truck idles fine. Truck has a nice lift on it, with Rancho shocks, and with 33 inch Wild Country tires, has decent tread still left. Nice Wheels. Brakes stop fine, 4 wheel drive works fine. I believe it has a Np 205 transfer case, Dana 60 rear/44 front. Truck drives down the road like a "BAD ASS" !! This is a rare Explorer model, Body is in Excellent condition, Rust Free!! always a west coast truck, no damage , no dents, Very solid body and undercarriage . the back of the bed is very straight. had a camper shell on it most of its life, hasn't been used as a work truck. Paint looks fair, I believe its been repainted years ago .It has fading and clear coat is not good on mostly on hood and roof. I believe it gives it character, LOL. Interior is very clean, as you can see, door panels are the explorer kind, has the original explorer checkered seat under the cover, it is torn on drivers side carpet was patched on drivers side, dash is good, has some cracks, but has a cover, overall it looks nice! All original explorer emblems on hood and sides. All windows, doors open/close nicely, very solid, all lights work. Glass is good, no crack. I have new weather stripping for the doors, custom fit for this model, easy to install. So there you have it, a really nice 77' that has been well taken care of and loved by a older gentleman that loved to document everything. please keep in mind, it is not new its a 1977. I know you will enjoy it for many years to come if you give it the same attention as he did. Questions?? please feel free to email or call me at (707) 953-8291 Don thanks you!
