Here is your chance to own a piece of history! A 1971 Chevy Chevelle Convertible with only 17600 original miles. How I know this? I know the original owner. This time capsule was built on April 21st, 1971 and shipped April 22nd, 1971 to Beare Motors in Port Perry, Ontario. The car has never left this small little town and is a true survivor. The original owner barely drove the car, only on a nice Sunday afternoon. The Chevelle has a Brand New Placer Gold Metallic Paint (Paint Code 53) which is the original color for the car. The interior has Code 722-Saddle Vinyl Strato bucket Seats. Seats are in excellent condition. The chrome is excellent, along with the bezels. The engine has the Numbers matching upgraded option 350 CID 165 HP 2bbl Turbo fire V8. I have installed the Rally Rims with Brand New BF Goodrich T/A’s with the rear tires 275’s and fronts 255’s. The dual exhaust is also brand new as the original muffler was original on the car. It now has a sweet rumble! New Sandlewood Carpet installed. The original AM Radio works great but I installed a premium sound system which is tucked away in the trunk. The car drives beautifully and the engine starts on the first turn of the key. It is actually an unbelievable gem of a car! The Chevelle is equipped with the following: Engine-350V8-2 BBL Carb (option) Front Bucket Seats Floor Console with a 3 Speed Automatic Transmission (THM350) Power Steering Vacuum Power Brakes Original Wheel Covers will come with the car! Original AM Radio (Works like new) Rear Axle 2.56 Ratio Windshield Antenna Black Convertible Folding Top-Like New and works as it should. Comes with original Saddle Boot for Convertible topAll quarter panels and doors are original and in Excellent Condition.The 350 emblems are on order as one of them broke when being prepped for paint. ONLY 277 of these cars were Imported into Canada. The frame is MINT. There are no holes in the trunk or the floor! I have the original 14inch steel rims and hub-caps for the car if you are interested. The rubber is newer of course. The interior is in excellent condition. The Vintage Report which is stamped and Certified by General Motors is included in the sale and verifies all options and production information The 2nd owner bought the car from the elderly man in 2006 and likewise, barely drove the car.
