Vehicle Detail

This is an MG MK IV, that I got from a customer after he decided not to repair the car, and didn't want to pay his bill. The car caught fire at a traffic light, the alternator was the cause. The fire spread a little and about all of the repairs needed are done.At this point the car has a mind of its own. It usually starts well, and runs for a bit, but then suddenly cuts out. Spark disappears. Trying to use starter fluid has no results.( just so you know, it's not fuel delivery) I think the replacement distributor we put in the car is defect. (Lucas electronic, as per original)We replaced the dizzy, took the engine out and cleaned the engine bay, re painted it. The radiator was tested and re painted. new alternator, hoses, coil, installed a Facet fuel pump, replaced master cylinders etc ect. Have a look at the pictures. There is damage to the paint on the hood ( very slight) fender and the drivers door. The right front tire has a small leak.Feel free to ask me any questions you may have. The little car was a real fast little thing, and I actually anticipate the motor has a sporty cam in it. That seemed to be working really well with the 45 DCOE Weber that is on it. A friend worked on it for me two years ago, but he moved out before the car was ready to run. I have no time and since I cannot find any decent help in my shop, I decided to shrink the business. Therefor I am loosing the space to store the car. Selling my race car too. Prior to the fire we had repaired the brakes,(new pads, shoes and rear hardware) and did a tune up, changed oils and the car ran fine for about 5 weeks before the mishap happened. It really does needs not much, if you can live with the blisters in the paint. You can find my details when you put my E-Bay name in front of the dot com and check out what we do. The car is in Woodstock, IL in my shop and can be seen during business hours or make an appointment. Shipping is for the buyer, and a $200 deposit is due within 24 hours after closing of the auction. no warranties, car is as is, where is. Thanks! PS Actual mileage is unknown. Speedo reads 1650Top works well, and the car comes with a tonneauOn Jul-08-15 at 07:22:31 PDT, seller added the following information: Added d.d. July 8 I added ten pictures of the underside of the car. It seems to be really sound everywhere except one straight line at the rear of the floor pan drivers side. A fairly easy repair, as it is accessible from the inside of the car.
