I am selling my 1987 535is. Automatic. Runs great and a very reliable daily driver! Body is straight with no rust. All power options work including sunroof, power seats, head rests, mirrors, door locks. Has head unit with aux and usb inputs. All gauges work. Passed smog and has valid registration. Slight mileage discretion. Odometer works however previous owner repaired it while driving a few thousand miles with it not working. ODO reads 214k actual miles estimated around 216-217k. Beautiful car. I just purchased and installed -New battery -New brake switch I purchased but have not installed (Will be included with the car) - front brake pads - read brake pads - front and rear brake pad sensors - bosch fuel filter Previous owner replaced several parts within the last 2 years. I have all receipts. - 16" OEM Basket weave wheels - New OEM Bosch Fuel Injectors - New Airtex Fuel Pump - New catalytic converter - New air intake boot/hoses - New fuel take sender - New Bosch oxygen sensor - New belts and gasket seals - New stop light switch - New water outlet gasket - New Thermostat - New Ignition rotor - Bosch disc brakes and rotors, and Akebono Euro disc brake pads installed on 11/2013 - Wheels and tires in great shape - New Stabilizer/sway bar link for the real - New Genuine BMW auto trans differential cover gasket - New trailing arm mount bushing; rear pitman arm - 4 New cv joint boots - New Behr blower motor OVER $2500 into it in the past 2 years. The car is in great shape. Cons: - A/C does not work (Blower does) - Salvage title from a side swipe (repaired) - Driver side doors mismatched paint from side swipe - Driver side mirror fell from case. (Just the glass mirror. Taped on temporarily. whole new mirror costs less than $100) Busy work schedule however car is always with me (I daily drive it). Serious buyers and offers only please. I noticed that the driver side, passenger door handle is slightly out of place and is difficult to open from the inside, but you can open it fine from the exterior. I think the plastic handle needs to be screwed into place or replaced. the handle is $10-20 on ebay and can be replaced easily with 15min or so of labor. The center console where the hand brake is, is slightly loose. I will see if a screw is missing and attempt to tighten it before the buyer picks up the car. I will also have the car detailed and ensure that the brakes, brake lining sensors, fuel filter, and book with receipts are all with the vehicle upon purchase.
