1976 Jeep J-10 4x4, with an excellent running AMC V8 360 (5.9l) engine mated to a well maintained THM400 automatic transmission and Quadratrac 4WD system (with high and low). Beautiful body and interior. Power brakes, power steering, sliding back window and sunroof. This is a turn-key truck not requiring any mechanical or cosmetic work. For a lot more pictures of this truck, please go to: 1976jeepgladiator.weebly.comHighlights: - 72,700 original miles. - Transmission, transfer case, and differentials have been cleaned and serviced properly. - Brand new Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs mud terrains 31x10.5x15 on original AMC Wheels with Discount Tire warranty. - Rebuilt Motorcraft 2150 carburetor with electric choke. Starts, idles, and runs great. - Also has updated radiator hoses, drive belts, fuel pump, brakes front and rear, shocks and steering damper, high flow dual exhaust, battery, and any other maintenance item that needed replacing due to age. - Body is in great condition with no rust (garaged most of its life). Bed is in excellent shape as well because it had its original bed protection since day one. Also has a custom sunroof. A few small dents (passenger side door, upper left tailgate, bed rails) that can probably be pulled out. I have pictures of these imperfections on the link provided above. Note: The custom tailgate was done by the original owner and is very solid. Gets a lot of attention :) - Interior is in excellent original condition with small tears at edge of seat (see pictures). - All gauges, inside and outside lights, AM/CB radio (instead of the dash radio), factory installed tachometer, wipers, etc, are all in working order, EVEN the power antenna! Previous Auction Sold: yes and then no due to payment conflict. Buy it Now price lower than previous auction: Yes, I would like to sell before I travel out of town July 11th (coming back July 21st). If it does not sell, I will probably re-list in August with a much higher reserve and Buy It Now price. So get it now and save! Low Gear: Yes, it does have low gear and also the center diff lock vacuum switch in the glove compartment in case you are stuck in deep mud or a ditch. Stock gearing: Yes stock gears and differentials. However, differentials have been opened, inspected, cleaned thoroughly, and re-filled with new fluid at a shop. Same on the t-case. Yes, I have receipts that will go with the truck. Fly in and drive home: Yes, I can meet you at the Denver airport. Yes, the truck is in excellent mechanical condition, does not burn oil or smokes. However, is a 3 speed auto tranny with no overdrive, which means to get decent gas mileage you would have to drive 55-60mph (though it can go much faster). Might be cheaper and save miles on the truck to ship it. Tires newer or new: Tires are 2 months old and about 50 miles on them. Spare is used, but same size to match new tires. Payment options: Easiest way if you are not local or flying in would be wire transfer to my bank account, once cleared, I will mail you the title and set of keys. You can then let me know when shippers will pick it up or where I can drop it off. Previous transactions worked very smoothly this way.
