TRUCK WILL SELL TO HIGH BIDDER , NO RESERVE ,, Barn Found , local Wisconsin farmer,,, driven regularly till 1970, parked and not restarted since, Title in hand signed and clear,, Clear Title,, VIN on all 1941-1946 Chevy trucks are stamped on the engine only, left of the distributor on a flat cast surface of engine block. Title Matches Vin of Truck! 216 inline 6 engine turns freely, this vehicle is still wired for 6 volt as it originally was. Comes With Keys. Frame of truck is free of any damage due to rust, yes it is rusty looking but it is absolutely solid and not Brittle! Original Steel Running boards. Extremely hard to find in solid condition easily worked for use in any restoration. Steel running boards with ripples/scallops are not reproduced aftermarket,, only smooth steel or fiberglass can be found. Running boards alone , like these , bring a thousand bucks. I have not tried to start this truck. I honestly believe with little effort this truck would run just like it did in 1970 when parked. I've turned the engine easily from underneath with a flywheel turner. I put on the completely wrong tires ,, just something temporary to make truck easy to move. These are the right rims! 15" with all tabs to install hub caps. Missing taillights,, Missing truck Box bed wood ,, it was all rotted and falling apart so I discarded it. It has the correct Tailgate! No it is NOT suppose to say "Chevrolet" it wasn't till 1947 did tailgates say chevy. Windshield cranks out as it should. Door glass cracked. Gas Tank is correct and still under the seat.
