This One's a Dandy! Rare and very difficult to find 1948 1 Ton-5 Window Deluxe Cab Pickup Restored in 2003 and done as close to completely original as possible. I have restoration photos and documentation of most all the work done. Starts, runs and brakes well. Pictures pretty much tell the story. Interior almost all new including paint, refaced gauges, recovered seat, new headliner, etc. Solid old truck, cab corners are original and perfect, floors are solid with only 1 repair in the area right above the battery box. Truly hardly any rust anywhere. I am trying to convey thatthis is a truly wonderful honest find. The mileage shows 36,468. It is NOT 136,000, but I cannot verify mileage to be exact because of the age of the truck. Typically high mileage trucks have rough frame wear and are rusted out in the fender cab areas...NOTHING like that here. Again, very straight, very solid old truck. I am selling to assist my daughter with college expenses. New fuel Tank, New Battery, New front tires, reassembled using all stainless steel bolts.
