Totally Original 1969 Cadillac Sedan DeVille with only 9649 miles from new! This car was donated to a local charity by the estate of the original owner and is being sold on their behalf. Stored in a parking garage for over 20 years, we believe as the estate does, that the mileage is correct. With a new battery and some fresh gas it started right up and runs well. Cosmetically it looks presentable in its original paint, but there are a few door chips and dings on both sides as well as a rusty spot on the trailing edge of the right front fender. (see photo) a proper detail would help the paint, but the rust should be cut out and replaced.The vinyl top seems a bit faded, but in good condition with no tears or bubbles from below. The stainless trim looks great, but the chrome bumpers and door handles are heavily tarnished. A serious polishing would help considerably, but the appearance would still be of "driver" quality. Inside, the upholstery, carpet, headliner and dash all still look virtually new. All power accessories work well, but of course the AC is not cold. This car even has the optional tissue dispenser! Mechanically it runs and idles well, although we did notice a bit of a coolant leak. We have not thoroughly road tested it, but after a fresh set of tires, it seems to perform like a 1960's Cadillac should.A nice time warp survivor car that could really benefit from a collectors care.Low Reserve Please note: the successful bidder will receive a California title in their name within two to three weeks after payment is completed. *We are a licensed Calif vehicle dealer (#5337).
