I have for auction a 1997 Mercedes Benz C280. The car is in very good condition with exception to a few minor flaws. There are a few scuff here and there as shown in the pictures. The hood ornament is missing. The mirror control knob is missing but the little stub still works the mirrors. The stereo and AC do not work. The AC I would...yes...assume...needs charged. The heat works great.The airbag light is on, however I have a new module that should reset that. No major dents or dings but could use a wax job. Interior looks real good for the age. One cigarette burn behind the driver's seat. Now...knitty gritty time...the car is in "limp mode" as stated in the owner's manual. The engine runs strong and starts every time. However the transmission is stuck in 2nd or 3rd gear. I've inquired online and some say it could be a simple fix and some say it might cost a few dollars. That being said, right now I just do not have money to play with. I'm in the middle of remodeling a farm house and just too much going on. I would hate to part this car out...it would be similar to throwing away food off the table. That's just the way I see it. Take a look and good luck bidding!
