Vehicle Detail

Purchased in 1999.Previous owner did frame replacement/restructure of rear pivots arm mounts. Since purchasing, I have rebuilt the differential mounts, with stiffeners. Replaced all of the bushings with urethane front and rear. Added solid steering rack mounts. Replaced exhaust with dual stainless system. Full High resolution photos and drive video at my flickr site. Go to Flickr, search for People, search for "tr6scott" then look at my albums for "1976 TR6 for sale" There are complete high resolution photos of the top side and underside along with the items that are included if you use the buy it now price. This car will never be a show winner, but it looks great and is fun to drive. It is reasonably priced for what you are getting. I spent $7,000 on it back in 1999.The only reason I am selling, is first born in starting college. Car is available to be seen in Oxford, please send message if interested to arrange viewing. On Jun-28-15 at 19:50:04 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit: 6/28/2015 Had a couple of questions/messages about the soft spot in the frame. I have uploaded an additional picture, this should help evaluate the spot and size. The original photo, is picture 930 on the flikr site. This is just a rotate and crop of that picture, not a new picture, so the scale and size can be assessed from the original resolution picture on the flikr site. If you notice the jack stands in the picture, you see how they have that U shaped top, to them and even in this picture, you can see how the frame is not straddled by the jack stand. Once I was jacking the car up to do some front end work, and I placed the jack stand, so the middle of the frame was sitting on only one point of the jack stand, and after I lowered the car on to the jack stand, the middle of the lower horizontal frame piece, became crushed in due to the high stress placed on this single lifting point. This spot in the frame is now crushed in, showing some rust weakness. The frame is structurally sound, as you can tell in the original photo, as it is completely supported by jack stand. It would also be an easy fix to grind out this area, and weld in a patch. Bad design on the these jack stands, and not enough attention to details on my part. On Jun-29-15 at 09:45:40 PDT, seller added the following information: Edit: 6/29/2015 Now that their is a bid on the TR, the buy it now price is gone. So if the final price of the auction finishes above the $8,500 price mark the buyer will be entitled to all the spare parts shown and mentioned on the flikr site. If the final price is less than $8,500 the spare parts are not included, in the sale. If buyer is interested in the spare parts, we can talk about that after the auction. I just wanted a way to honor the bonus of the spare parts with the buy it now price, even after the buy it now, is gone. For people just starting to watch now.
