Adult owned 82 corvette. Sent most of it's life putting around town. I owned it for several years then sold it to my Mother and Father (they loved it until they couldn't get in and out of it anymore) Then I bought it back. This was always my favorite body style. The last year of the C3 corvette, First year for the cross fire fuel injection. Fuel injection still on and works GREAT! Starts fast and runs smooth. Throttle responce is much improved over the carburator. I have several other "toys" and i just don't drive this much anymore. Sat inside the garage most last year and I've only had it out twice this year so far. I decided that someone else needs to enjoy her. Sitting isn't good on cars, and it needs to be driven. This is a great driver or cruise night car. Runs smooth and drives great. Nice and tight on the front end and after I replaced all the weatherstripping this spring the normal rattles are almost non existent. I installed new floor mats, steering wheel and sill plates as well this spring. It has some chips and nicks from driving it but it still looks good. It has been professionally maintained for the last 10 years or so and I'm not afraid to drive it where ever, when ever. The speedometer quit working while my parents owned it. My mother being the honest sole that she is reported the "odometer not working" on the title at the recorders office. I have since repaired the cable and it currently shows 81,813. No that isn't the exact mileage, my guess is that they put in another 2,000 miles with the odometer not working. Exact mileage around 83,000. However, you will see that if a car fax is run on the car. The speedometer bounces a bit while driving, my guess is the cables need some lubrication from sitting. Again I have driven it less that 100 miles in the last year or two. I do start it ever other moth and let it warm up just to keep the oil circulating in the engine. The vacuum lights work great up and down. The pictures of the gauges are with the car at idle this morning. In the last several years I have also install new BF Goodrich tires on all four corners, new brake calipers, wiper motor, and all the basic tune up stuff. Recently serviced and it's ready to go! Some things that need replaced are as follows. The radio and power antenna quit working this spring and I haven't looked at them to see whats wrong. And the cruise control stopped working (I suspect the bouncing speedometer has something to do with it). All in all a great car to drive or restore if you wish. I don't see any evidence of an accident or damage the has been repaired. The underneath looks good and there is NO rust on the subframes or suspension. This car was obviously stored inside during the winter and taken care of. Thanks for looking and ask any questions.
