Up for sale is a BMW R90/6 in very nice condition. The previous owner had put many new and aftermarket parts onto it to make it look and perform as nicely as possible for touring (I would call what he did a "light restoration"). All the fluids have been flushed and refilled, splines lubed in addition to a new air filter, choke cables and new AGM battery. The previous owner, among other things, had a more reliable tranny from a 1980 BMW rebuilt and installed, carbs rebuilt, odometer overhauled (common with the older BMW's), new sub frame, top end resealed to include new con rod bearings, dual plugged heads (but not hooked up), Dyna III ignition, stainless lines, deep oil pan and the list goes on. Bike also includes (but not installed) crash bars, hard bags (no key), back rest, windshield, mudflap, manual and spare tube and K&N air filter. Starts and rides beautifully, sounds great. I have 2 BMW's and a small garage: one has to go. While I would not hesitate to ride this anywhere, at some point the new owner should probably get new tires (plenty of tread, just getting old) and get the steering head bearings readjusted.
