Up for your consideration is a 1983 Jeep CJ7 Laredo. The Jeep has gone through a restoration to be my driver Jeep. I wanted it to look like an original Jeep Laredo but be capable of going just about anywhere. Also it had to be functional and go 65-70 mph down the road and be fun to drive. The Jeep really does ride nice down the road. Even for a lifted Jeep it is well above average. It has a ton of torque capable of idling along in first gear without touching the gas. Up hills I usually don't down shift due to torque. The engine starts right up, idles great and runs perfect. The 6 speed trans will get you up to 70 mph no problem. It really is a special Jeep with a lot of time and effort to make it a one of kind Jeep. I only have 3k miles on the Jeep since completing. The paint is very nice driver quality and looks really stunning when cleaned up. Look at the pics they should tell the story. 4.6L stroker motor completely rebuilt.
