This is an all original 1979 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz. It started out it's life as a diesel, however GM had trouble with these engines so it was swapped by Cadillac for a 5.7L 350ci at around the 30,000 mileage range. One of the major benefits is it's still titled as a diesel and does not need to be smogged! The transmission was rebuilt around 15K miles ago and it was a daily driver but has sat for the past few years now, mainly in my warehouse. As far as other work, the hydro-booster was recently replaced. The cars runs and drives! The front seats and the head liner are the only issues with the interior. The headliner hangs down, but there are no tears. The front seats can be restitched and repaired, nothing too major. The carpet is in fairly decent condition. It has a few thin spots near the door jamb, but that's it. A good shampooing will breath lots of life back into them. The dash is in excellent condition, no cracks or tears! The origional 8-track is still in the vehicle as is the factory installed CB radio. Please feel free to contact me if you would like any additional details or photos.
