1962 BMW R69-S Triple matching numbers. This bike has been in storage for some time but it is currently registered just so I could see how it rides, I would honestly have to say it rides like a magic carpet. Bike has original paint with a few blemishes, no dents, no rust. It does need a good cleaning. Some of the spots the camera picked up are from old dried on wax that was not completely removed. I have not cleaned this bike other than to rinse off the dust and touch the tank and fenders with a little spray wax. This bike has been stored in the same garage since at least 1968 and ridden occasionally.To my knowledge everything on bike is original except the seat.The odometer reads 7886 miles and the title has 87,761. There was a discrepancy when I titled it and the girl had me put an 8 in front of mileage, I was in a rush so I did.I will try to answer any questions as honestly as I can, I don't have a wealth of knowledge about a BMW. The bike also has the tool kit in tank compartment. I believe it to be original paint with a few nicks and normal wear. Tires have been replaced and are in good condition. I rode this bike about 10 miles on the interstate last week and probably 60 or 70 miles on two lane highways and it handles beautifully.
