If you want a true Super Sport Chevelle, this is an original 13867 vin car. I purchased this car 30 years ago with intentions of restoring it, however with family obligations have not had time to tackle the project. This car was bought without engine or transmission, and I sourced a running 396 and transmission, along with many new and used parts through the years. Since the car has been sitting, the body has slowly deteriorated requiring a complete overhaul, including the purchased engine. This auction includes all the many parts that were purchased through the years to complete the car. Such as: new floor carpeting, convertible top vinyl, exhaust pipes, quarter panels, rear springs, brake shoes. The car also includes rust free doors, hood, and fenders. The interior is almost complete, but not in the car, and requires restoration. There are (3) bucket seats included, one being electric but I have not verified operation. There is one assembled Muncie 4 speed transmission and one in parts included, along with one complete 396 engine, which used to run twenty years ago, and one 396 engine block with many parts. The engines and transmissions are not original. The emblems are in decent condition, along with the console and dash. Here is an opportunity to own a true super sport big block convertible, at a reasonable price.On Jun-22-15 at 19:08:44 PDT, seller added the following information: I appreciate all the questions and want you to completely understand the condition of the car and parts. The rear differential is the original 12 bolt posi, though I have never driven the car so don't know the condition. I hold a Wisconsin title for the car and the odometer is posted at 10 in excess of 99,999 miles. The engine that is shown in the picture is not bolted in place, just resting in storage, is not an original SS 396 engine, and will not move the car without major work. The trunk is rusted out (see new photos my brother took with phone), and again the frame is complete junk. The rocker panels are rusted but look to be solid, and along with the firewall has some rust but also solid. There will also be some missing parts in order to complete the car such as the steering wheel and some trim.
