2002 Isuzu Axiom. We've owned for 7 or 8 years. Body in good shape, no wrecks, normal dings / dents. Had transmission rebuilt about 2 or 3 years ago, cost about $3500. New timing belt, water pump, radiator, upper and lower hoses, oil change, about 3 months ago. Tires have a couple thousand miles at most - new Firestones about a year old - about $1000 with an alinement. We've driven it cross country numerous times, until now wouldn't hesitate to drive it anywhere. Engine runs great, 4wd works perfectly, Air is cold, interior is in very good shape no rips or tears, little dirty, we've been using each weekend for house repairs - runs to the hardware store, until recently... Recently the transmission now won't take off in low, tries to take off in higher gear. Don't know why, if you pull it down into low it takes off just fine. I don't know if the trans needs another rebuild, or if it needs a new solenoid to fix the start in low problem. Last time we had it rebuilt it took a couple of months and at this point we're not willing to do it again. It will at least drive itself onto a trailer, it might drive away from here for some distance, for now we've parked it. Not sure we want to put anymore cash into it. New ebay'ers or no feedback, don't bid, I'll cancel it, sorry been down that road. Starting bid is minimum I'll take, auction won't end early. Don't bid without checking first with wife. girlfriend, or both. If it doesn't sell we'll decide to scrap or fix the tranny.
