1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 Convertible This car came out of an estate. Was garage kept. 1965 Plymouth Valiant Signet 200 (not sure really how to state the name of this car. Title states Plymouth Valiant Convertible but the car also has other things on it that say 200 and signet) White convertible top in good condition. No rips or tears. The original convertible top cover for when the top is down is also included. Someone at some point tried to repair something in the back seat area around where the front of the convertible top cover should snap into place. There is something missing on both sides right there or so it appears to me. It might be in the trunk as well as I said there are some things back there that I have not gone through as I do not have the time. They also tried to bondo or repair a piece of the plastic body trim back there. It would have been better to get one from a junkyard rather than what they attempted to do. Multi shade blue leather or vinyl interior which is in good condition. The body is light blue and is in good condition. Some minor aged wear scuffs, scratches, paint chips here and there. Seems as though almost all parts are accounted for and are original. There are some small trim pieces missing but I think all or most are in the trunk. The car was not towed or hauled from the estate. We drove it back to our store! It was an hour and a half drive and we had absolutely no problems with the car. Ran and drove good going both slow and fast! We had the car up to 80 mph on the interstate at one point on the trip back. Odometer reads 29280. The new title will state exempt, as when I took it to be registered at the BMV the estate had not put the mileage on the papers so it could not be registered with the current odometer reading. Family said that they had the engine rebuilt and it has 25k miles on it. I do not know much about this car other than what I am stating here. I purchased this vehicle along with other items from an estate. The family told me that the car was garage kept. I am not a car dealer or a mechanic and have described the car as best as I can for what I know about it. It looks to be a very nice vintage vehicle that runs and drives great. I would keep it for myself to drive around in during the summer but I am not in the business of keeping the estate items that I purchase so someone is going to get a very nice car!
