2005 Volkswagen Jetta TDI package 1 manual transmission  136k miles. I am a 15 year certified master mechanic.  I purchased this Jetta in need of a camshaft replacement (common TDI problem) from a customer of mine who did not have the funds to repair the car.  The car was in excellent condition otherwise so I decided to do a complete overhaul.  The car now runs drives and looks excellent.  I have performed a 1000 mile break in on the car to make sure it is performing as it should.  I was able to average over 50mpg and just over 700 miles on a full tank.  The car is a pleasure to drive on the highway with tight steering and suspension. The vehicle is fully loaded with ice cold air conditioning, power windows and locks, sunroof, keyless entry, and leather seats.  The only imperfections on the car are some small dings, peeling radio buttons, and a small rock chip on the windshield.  Tires are like new in the front and 50% in the rear.  There are no leaks or rust of any kind and the car is very clean inside and out. I take much pride in my work and love to bring cars back to better than new condition.  Below I have added a extensive list of repairs I have personally done 1000 miles ago, these repairs would cost you well over 4000 dollars with parts and labor.  If you are looking for a TDI this is the one.  Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. Complete rebuilt cylinder head/ New valves, valve seals, valve job, camshaft, camshaft lifters, cam cap bolts Timing Belt, water pump, tensioner, idler Head gasket, head bolts  Valve cover gasket, exhaust manifold gasket, coolant flange gasket, Intake manifold gasket, vac pump gasket air filter, fuel filter, 2 oil changes with filter and Motul 5w40 oil (Changed once on initial start up and again after 500 mile break in) Fuel injectors cleaned using diesel purge Coolant Flushed with VW specific coolant Cam timing set to 1 degree (perfect setting for gas mileage) Injector lash adjusted to spec. New front and rear brakes (pads and rotors) Clutch and Dual mass flywheel replaced at around 90k miles
