I say VERY RARE because they only made 2,455 Impala SS 427 Convertibles in 1969 !! This is a car that NEVER fails to turn heads everywhere it goes and it shows, runs, and drives VERY WELL indeed. We just purchased this BEAUTY from the previous Washington State owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for sure !! He explained to us that it is a TRUE factory Impala SS 427 car however a 396 was installed in place of the 427 prior to him purchasing the car several years ago. It is impossible to verify with 100% accuracy a true factory SS 427 Impala without the factory RPO build sheet but to the best of our knowledge and research we believe this to be a TRUE factory SS 427 Impala Convertible but you be the judge. It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Chevrolet cowl mounted data plate and the - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Chevrolet VIN tag, both of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this car as my daily driver to and from the office and running errands as needed for several days and I assure you it runs and drives GREAT, TOO FUN !! This car is a sweet driver and cruises down the freeway at 75+ mph as smooth as can be. It handles well, stops great with power brakes and with power steering it is a two finger driver. What a value it is at the reserve price which is set very low ! I say VERY RARE because they only made 2,455 Impala SS 427 Convertibles in 1969 !! This is a car that NEVER fails to turn heads everywhere it goes and it shows, runs, and drives VERY WELL indeed. We just purchased this BEAUTY from the previous Washington State owner and as you can tell in the pictures and video it was his pride and joy for sure !! He explained to us that it is a TRUE factory Impala SS 427 car however a 396 was installed in place of the 427 prior to him purchasing the car several years ago. It is impossible to verify with 100% accuracy a true factory SS 427 Impala without the factory RPO build sheet but to the best of our knowledge and research we believe this to be a TRUE factory SS 427 Impala Convertible but you be the judge. It still retains it's - FACTORY ORIGINAL - correctly mounted Chevrolet cowl mounted data plate and the - FACTORY ORIGINAL - dash mounted Chevrolet VIN tag, both of which are shown in several pictures below. I drove this car as my daily driver to and from the office and running errands as needed for several days and I assure you it runs and drives GREAT, TOO FUN !! This car is a sweet driver and cruises down the freeway at 75+ mph as smooth as can be. It handles well, stops great with power brakes and with power steering it is a two finger driver.
