You are bidding on a very nice 1962 Impala SuperSport that has recently gone through a detailed frame up refresh. The original motor has about 2500 miles on a complete engine overhaul, the clutch, pressure plate, flywheel and throwout bearing were replaced less than 200 miles ago, all of the wheel cylinders, brake shoes and bearings were replaced within the last few months and the car received a new paint job about the same time. This is an original, numbers matching classic that still retains it original floors, trunk pans, rockers and sheet metal. We did replace a few pieces of chrome but nothing major as you will see from the pics, most of the chrome was already in great shape. I have the original warranty book with the original owners name, vin# and key code printed in it and the key code still cuts keys that fit the locks. The title is clear and it seems that there are only 2 previous owners. The interior is in excellent shape and the car is a dream to drive, which I do quite frequently. If you are looking for the perfect restomod candidate, this would be a nice one. But personally, when you find one this original, I think it would be a shame to change it.
