Vehicle Detail

1993 Corvette Coupe. Excellent to very good condition overall; well maintained and always garaged. Runs and drives great. Paint is very good for this mileage and shines well. Exterior very good condition with a few tiny stone chips on lower front bumper and lower side edges. Tiny wear tear in driver's seat between bolster and seat bottom has been repaired. The engine compartment is clean and free of leaks, no rust. Everything works! Recent service /work included: at 101K miles, tune-up with new plugs and wires, all new hoses and belts (cost $1,716). 101K, all new Michelin tires (cost $1,472). 103K new starter ($319). 104.4K oil/lube/filters. Service records are included. Official 1993 Corvette Service Manuals (2 large books) are included. This is a CA/NV car. I am the second owner and bought it in Alameda, CA from Good Chevrolet with 20K miles on it while I was in the US Coast Guard. It was traded in by a doctor. I moved to NV and car has never been driven in snowy winters. I've always owned Corvettes starting with my '69 after 'Nam, then an '85 , and now this '93. I know how and what it takes to properly maintain them. I have this C4 for sale because I own three other vehicles and one must go (I'm keeping my '67 GTO). Issue: the Passive Keyless Entry system sets the a theft alarm and it actually went off a couple of times at night a few years ago. My local mechanic, and friend, who still owns a '93 40th Anniversary maroon model had the same thing happen and said it was due to an overly sensitive "door ajar" switch in the doors. He adjusted the switches and it hasn't false alarmed since, although I usually turn it off in my garage. For a good read on why you should buy a '93 Corvette, see this article: http://www.epinions.com/review/auto_Make-1993_Chevrolet_Corvette/content_222986931844?sb=1 My reserve is lower than the KBB.com and Nadaguides.com prices for a fair sale. Buyer must have eBay "feedback" history before bidding. Please contact me if you do not have this. I can pick you up at the Reno airport if needed. Remember the "Verdict" quote in the above article ... "As a last note, let me just say that the 1993 Corvette is an exquisite machine, comprised of the utmost refinement, beauty, power, finesse, and inescapable fun." Now ... Good Luck bidding! On Jun-10-15 at 17:29:31 PDT, seller added the following information: ATTENTION BIDDERS: Effective June 10 at 5;30pm. I'd really like to sell my 'Vette, so I just lowered the Reserve Price to be more in line with what very similar C4's have sold for recently. Also, it is much closer to the "trade to dealer" value than "sell to private party" value per Kelly Blue Book, at kbb.com. HINT ... it's lower than $5K. Thanks and good luck bidding!
