Introduced in 1984 as the entry level Mercedes Benz in the US, sales were quite brisk, and these were sold here up to and including the 1993 model year. Approximately 1.8 MILLION examples were sold worldwide. These cars carrie that old Mercedes reputation....Simple to own and drive along with being just about bullet proof!! Examples like this one are unheard of! Most have over 200 Thousand miles by now, and are still going strong. Our 190E 2.6 is an extra clean example that is sure to provide it's lucky new owner many many years of enjoyment and pride of ownership!!! It is cosmetically excellent with no rust or rot noted. Paint is bright and shiny with hardly any wear or damage. There is a small bump on the right rear corner of the bumper. The interior is MB Tex, and while it looks just like leather, it wears like iron!!! Everything is working as designed with the exception of the radio, which does not get real loud. it is loud enough to listen to, but will not go full volume. I left this as is in case the new owner wanted to upgrade to a CD, or similar. It has just been fully sorted and serviced!! I am told that the shocks and springs are all new along with both flex discs and the carrier bearing on the driveshaft. All fluids have been flushed and changed. A/C blows Ice cold, and the tires and brakes are almost new. It currently has fresh Pa. safety and emissions inspections and is sure to please the lucky new owner!
