ALL THE POWER FEATURES AND OPTIONS WORK EXCEPT FOR THE A/C HEAD UNIT. THE UNIT'S BUTTONS DO NOT WORK AND THE SYSTEM IS STUCK IN DEFROST MODE. THERE IS NO COLD A/C. THE BLOWER WORKS FINE THOUGH.
THIS ACCORD LX HAS A FUEL EFFICIENT 2.3L-I4 ENGINE THAT STARTS EASILY AND RUNS GOOD! THE AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION SLIPS SOMETIMES IN BETWEEN GEARS WHEN DRIVING.
CURRENT VA STATE INSPECTION (EXPIRES 3/16). IT WILL NOT PASS AGAIN DUE TO THE FOLLOWING: IT NEEDS THREE NEW TIRES AND NEEDS NEW OUTER FRONT TIE RODS. TIRES IN THIS SIZE ARE CHEAP (AROUND $40 EACH) AND THE TIE RODS ARE ONLY ABOUT $10 EACH. NOT INCLUDING LABOR YOU ARE ONLY TALKING ABOUT $150 IN PARTS, SO ITS A CHEAP FIX TO MAKE THE CAR PASS STATE INSPECTION. WE CAN FIX THESE THINGS FOR THE WINNING BIDDER FOR AN ADDITIONAL COST. THE CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS "ON", AS WELL AS THE MAINTENANCE LIGHT, BUT THE CAR RUNS GREAT SO IT'S LIKELY AN O2 SENSOR OR SOMETHING MINOR. HOWEVER, WE HAVE NOT DIAGNOSED THE CAUSE OF THE LIGHTS BEING ON.
WITH A LITTLE WORK THIS CAR WOULD BE AN GOOD DAILY DRIVER OR SECOND VEHICLE.
THE SILVER PAINT AND THE BODY LOOK GOOD. THE PAINT IS DULL IN A FEW SPOTS AND THERE A SMALL DENT ON THE HOOD, BUT OVERALL THIS HONDA LOOKS GOOD.
INSIDE, THIS ACCORD LX LOOKS PRETTY GOOD. THE SEATS HAVE A FEW LIGHT STAINS ON THEM AND ARE WORN SOME, BUT THERE ARE NO RIPS OR TEARS IN THE SEAT FABRIC. THERE IS A SMALL RIP IN THE HEADLINER ON THE PASSENGER SIDE. THE MAP LIGHT UNIT IS BROKEN AND IS HANGING DOWN.
THE CARFAX SHOWS ACCIDENTS REPORTED IN DECEMBER OF 2008 AND FEBRUARY OF 2013. THE VEHICLE WAS PROFESSIONALLY REPAIRED BOTH TIMES AND SHOWS NO EVIDENCE OF ANY ACCIDENT OR REPAIR NOW.
