Car was built on 5/3/1966 in San Jose, CA and was owned by a soldier stationed in Texas. Car has spent most of it's life in a dry climate and was originally a rare Sahara Beige color. Mechanical work completed:New gas tank and lines. New radiator, hoses, and thermostat.New fuel pump and filters.Oil change and complete tune-up; plugs, wires, distributor cap, points, etc.New alternator and voltage regulator.New battery and cables.All new belts.Heads rebuilt with new hydraulic lifters.New dual exhaust.Four new radial tires (size 205/14).Title in hand.Mustang starts and runs. Brakes need to be done--car will stop, but not road worthy. Transmission seems good. The body is straight and mostly solid (I did not find any bondo), minor rust bubbles as shown in pictures. Inner rear quarters and trunk are very solid. Rear floors and driver side floor look solid, passenger has a rust hole. Original air cleaner, jack, spare, and radio in trunk. Windshield has crack and car needs dash cover. Rugs and seats are okay. Car comes with new extra parts, which include a complete set of upper and lower control arms with bushings, ball joints, and front springs. Car is sold AS-IS. Please ask questions before bidding. Local inspection is welcome. This is an easy restoration when compared to some of the junk available on eBay. This will make a great summer project!
