1992 500SL Roadster in Excellent Condition. If you use the Auto Check to see why the score is lower than average--they use the term "branded" title if there is an odometer error. This car was auctioned around 17 years ago, and the odometer was rolled back. I am disclosing the exact mileage today after reading the report and what we are reading now--it is slightly over 147K. The title is clear and because it does have over 100K miles, many upgrades and repairs have been done in the last 12 years. I have over $15K in receipts to show this is still a very reliable car with many years of affordable driving left on it. Also, most of the car has been repainted to make it better appearing than cars of its age. A brief summary of the repairs: new soft top cylinders, new radiator and coolant flush, partial transmission overhaul, A/C 134a (first year offered), with evaporator replaced, new water pump and serpentine belt, new starter, the interior leather is very good with one panel on drivers seat replaced, major tune-up within last 20K miles, The tires are on last half of wear with 2 extra included, the soft top is original-however, the back windows are yellow and cracked and will need a kit, the stereo is upgraded to a C/D player, power steering box, new hydraulic motor mounts, and the climate control functions normally.
