Vehicle Detail

For your consideration is this 2003 50th Anniversary Z06 Corvette in black with black leather interior. I have owned this Corvette for almost 4 years and it never fails to put a smile on my face when I drive it. The car has been babied its entire life and has never been abused or seen track time. I have many service records along with the original owners documents, purchase agreement, Z06 owners VCR tape, and original window sticker. The Z06 spends most of its time under a car cover in a heated and air conditioned garage. The car has a clean and clear Iowa title and a spotless Autocheck and CarFax history where it rates well above the normal range. The Corvette spent the first part of its life in Texas until I brought it to the Midwest where it has lived for almost 4 years. In the time I have owned it I have added the following equipment to the car but have kept all of the original parts which could be avaliable to the new owner. The original parts include the complete C5 Z06 air box and filter, radiator, jacking pucks, and excellent condition hood. Vararam Industries VR-B2 Z06 ram air induction with K&N air filter. VIS Racing Sports carbon fiber cowl induction hood. (painted to match the car) Sac City Corvette Fangs. (C5 skid plate protectors) Sac City Corvette V3 Cool It fan controller. West Coast Corvettes C5 black out kit for the lights. West Coast Corvettes Throttle body coolant bypass kit and 180 Degree Thermostat. West Coast Corvettes Radiator and water pump. Optima Red top battery. Within the last 5K miles the following work has been performed on the car. Goodyear Gatorback serpentine belts installed, AC Delco spark plugs and wires installed, Valve cover and intake gaskets installed, Throttle body cleaned, Radiator hoses installed, New GM HVAC control panel installed, Bridgestone Potenza RE760 Sport tires (265/40ZR17 on the front and 295/35ZR18 on the rear), 4 Wheel alignment, GM disc brake pads (front and rear), brake system flushed, and stock Z06 clutch installed. The clutch reservoir has also been flushed and new fluid installed. I also just serviced the car with Mobil 1 fluids for the engine, transmission, and rear end last week. The car has 129K miles on it as of now but you would be hard pressed to find a nicer, cleaner, better maintained C5 Z06 for the money. The car only gets driven when it is nice outside here in Iowa and is parked in a heated garage from the time it snows until spring. The C5 Z06 Corvette is considered the best bang for the buck by many publications for its performance and reliability and was called "The best performance car value on the planet" by Car & Driver magazine. I have driven this car on many road trips and it will get over 28 MPG on the road with loads of power to pass anyone. It truly is a pleasure to drive. It will be whatever kind of car you want it to, a Sunday cruiser to church or switch to beast mode and have fun. This is the quickest, fastest stock car I have ever driven. The car is loaded with options including the heads up display, power seat, Bose stereo with IPod connection, Dual climate control, trunk compartment divider, and active handling. It also has the original GM flat tire kit that came with the Z06 cars. It does have a typical C5 problem which is the fuel gauge working erratically if the fuel level is above ½ tank. Under ½ a tank it works perfect. I have been treating the fuel with the GM fix which is Techtron fuel cleaner which seems to be helping. The car does have some stone chips on the front nose cone and some small scratches that are barely noticeable on the drivers rear fender behind the tire, but is in far better condition than most cars that are 12 years old and have over 100K miles. I would rate the overall condition of the car an 8 on a scale of 1-10. If you just rate the car on performance alone it would be off the scale!! I encourage any interested buyer in coming and taking a look at the car in person. You may email me through EBay or call me at (641) 891-5489 with any questions. I also have over 100 pictures of the car so if there is something you want to see let me know. I will answer any and all questions in a timely manner. This car has nothing to hide and will not disappoint. This is a reserve price auction but the reserve price is very realistic for a Z06 Corvette in this good of condition. I will say the reserve price is below what the NADA, KBB, and Edmunds say the car is worth. I would bet this is the best deal for a Z06 Corvette on the internet. Although the car is rock solid and a 100% ride and drive. It is a used car and being sold by a private person so it is sold in AS IS condition with no warranties written or implied. I require a $1000 non refundable cash or pay pal deposit to be paid within 48 hours of the auction close with the remainder of the balance due within 7 days of the auction ending. I prefer cash or a wire transfer from a U.S bank but will also accept a cashiers check written from a U.S bank. If paying by cashiers check the car will not be released until the funds have cleared my bank, so if you want to pick the car up and drive it home, bring cash. I have a clean and clear Iowa title in my hands that will be express mailed out to the new owner when the funds clear. If you chose to have the car shipped I have a couple companies that I have used and will help in setting up a time and place for the transit company to get the car, but all costs incurred will be the responsibility of the new owner. The new owner may also come and pick the car up in person or I possibly can deliver the new owner his Z06. I have enjoyed this car and know it will bring the new owner miles and miles of smiles and trouble free driving. I recently drove it to see my daughter in Denver, which is a 1400 mile round trip and it performed flawlessly. It was a difficult decision to deceide to sell this car, I looked a long time to find the perfect C5 Z06 for me and this one was it. I am selling this car for personal reasons and I don’t have time to play games so please do not bid if you don’t have the funds or intend to follow through on the purchase. I have bought and sold numerous things on EBay and have 100% positive feedback for a reason. This is a great car that will make someone very happy. Good Luck and remember to bid early and bid often! Thanks for viewing my auction.
