Up for Auction is this 1980 Ford Pinto 2 door Station Wagon ! I am listing this for my elderly neighbor who has owned this car for many years. He has always kept in his garaged and in excellent condition for its age. You can speak with him directly if you prefer or if there are any questions that I cannot answer. Mechanically: The engine is a 2300 4cyl. engine that runs like a top and drives great. Everything under hood is very clean, all stock and original. Very easy to drive and gets excellent fuel mileage. The brakes feel good. The clutch works like it should. The tires are like brand new. Interior: The interior is mostly original and in real good shape. The front seats have been covered and the dash has a few cracks. He normally keeps a cover on it. The carpet, all the door panels and rear seats are in excellent shape. The rear seats fold down and its surprising how much you can haul in this little car ! Body: The car is real straight with no damaged are areas and doesn't appear to have been in any accidents. I crawled all around it. Doors, hood and trunk all close real good. I couldn't find any rust anywhere. The paint shines real nice but does have several paint chips mostly on the front end. All of the glass and moldings are in good shape. No leaks at all. Has the nicer optional wheels. Stock original AM/FM radio. Would be a very good reliable car for someone that wants something simple. No Power locks or brakes. No A/C , CD players or cruise control etc... If you choose to bid on the car please be serious about following through with purchase. I will be honest with you about everything on the car and so will he. I just ask you do the same in return. I'm just trying to help him sell his car. He is getting old and doesn't drive much anymore.
