Please read fully and ask questions before bidding. This is a 1969 C-10 longbed. The truck starts and runs ok but has a tap, loud on start up but quiets down some once run I have been told everything in the world that it may be from a rod bearing to the lifter to the valve to a blocked push rod. I am no small block chevy guy so maybe one of you will know. I am posting a video of the truck running so you can see and hear it. The truck is 47 years old so obviously it isn't new it has some dents and dings and scratches but all in all a decent truck. The interior is nice and everything works except the horn, the body looked good except the rocker panels that were rusted through so my son welded in new oem rockers. The bed is beautiful the paint would look a lot better with a wet sand and buff but it is presentable. The engine is a 307 and the true mileage is unknown the odometer reads 103,000 but watch the video and look at the oil pressure on the gauge. The tires are good, the brakes and wheel cylinders are new, the battery is new, the voltage regulator is new and the carburetor is new. The truck fires right up and would be great for someone with a big block to drop in it although the 307 would be ok as well. The only body filler we could find in it was the old mirror screw holes that had been filled in. The is one small patch in the drivers floor but looks to have been done well and then undercoated. The truck drives wonderful and shifts as smooth as a new one it's only real issue is the tapping and I would be happy if anyone that hears it would let me know what they think it may be. This is not a show truck and is not priced as one so please don't expect one, expect a 47 year old truck that still looks presentable, has had a lot done to it but still needs things done to it. I do drive the truck a little locally but not often because of the tapping.
