Vehicle Detail
This K5 Blazer just finished a beautiful restoration. Starting with a 100% rust free Blazer Silverado. This truck was driven an average of 9875 miles a year, so this was not a beat up work truck. The engine was rebuilt 25K miles ago and it runs great with absolutely no leaks. It is finished in 2 stage black and gold paint which has been wet sanded and polished. Starting with a rust free truck makes a finish like this possible. The interior is amazing. I prefer the captains chairs from the Suburban, so I located them and had them completely redone in beautiful soft leather. These seats have both arm rests, making driving a pleasure. All of the foam was redone, including the arm rests. The rear seat was done in matching leatherette and I had the hard plastic arm rests covered in foam and leatherette and as u can see it came out great. The original carpets just needed to be cleaned, and as u can see in the pictures they look great also. During the restoration all of the window channel fuzzies and window pane wipes were replaced as well as new regulators and motors so the windows are smooth and quite. The rear window also had the fuzzies and wipes replaced. If you know these trucks you know that with a tan interior you would have a variety of shades, ranging from tan to brown, nothing really matched. I took the time to dye all of the plastics and vinyl the same color and as u can see in the photos it makes a huge difference to the interior. The power door locks work as they should. The only modifications to this truck are Flow Master mufflers, giving it a nice rumble. I replaced the following; Grille and Headlight bezels, bowtie emblem Front Turn signals and side marker lights All side moldings including 1500 emblems Rear tail lights with chrome trim Tailgate aluminum trim panel and Chevrolet blazer emblem Wheel well chrome moldings Sliverado emblems on top door locks Instrument panel AC vent AC compressor and Condenser Door panel pull straps, caps, arm rests and aluminum trim plate As you can imagine this covers almost everything on the exterior and interior making this truck look new. The dash pad has 1 crack, right over the instrument cluster, but u can hardly notice it. AC and heat work great. If you are a fan of these trucks, as I am, you would be hard pressed to find a nicer one that has had this level of work done to it. I have invested a TON of money in this truck and it shows!
