1967 Ford Mustang FastbackVery Original condition Exterior:-Paint code reads candyapple red with white paint stripes from factory which is a rare option, Neat look. The condition of the paint is in need of help, There has been one paint job put on more than likely by spray paint can but there are areas of the car where original paint color shows through. -The car is in need of rust repair in a lot of the typical mustang area's. These repairs are easily done with the correct panels and tools. The drivers floor pan is completely gone and will need complete replacement, the remaining floor pans could either be replaced or patched. The trunk area has a few small spots, And the rear lower quarters will need replaced, wheel well areas aren't to bad. Should be very repairable. Frame rails are in good shape, just some surface rust appearing. All together a pretty solid car.-This mustang has its original set of matching correct hubcaps and white wall tires. Tires will need replaced eventually but hold air well for now. -Glass on the car is all in great shape except the winshield. -Body panels are all in good shape as a whole, looks like the hood was changed for a new one at some point, but fits pretty well. -chrome is in need of replaced or rechrome, I have replaced a number of emblems around the car. Engine/drivetrain:-The mustang still is sporting its original 289 V8 backed with its matching 3-speed manual trans, The engine runs pretty well, it may need a rebuild as part of full restoration but its runs in and out of the garage just fine. -The car still has its original exhaust on the car. It is in need of replacement but its still there. -Nothing is froze up or locked up on the car, brakes work good, rearend moves freely, nothing seems to be damaged. Interior:-The original interior color is parchment. Would look great along side the red exterior. Most of the original interior is still in the car, The car will need the usual items, Carpet, seat skins, dash panels etc. I have already replaced both door panels with new armrests. The interior is mostly complete, missing just a few small items. But it is very restorable. *** This is a great project car just waiting to be finished, It is mostly original which is a plus for someone to do how they want. This car is being sold as is with no warranty. List of parts I have replaced that are new:-Radiator-Fuel pump/ Fuel tank and sending unit-water pump-radiator hoses-Front shocks-Door panels-Armrest pads-Rocker panels-Mustang badges/ all locks and ignition is new-Several new pieces of chrome trim along hood, decklid etc. -I also have an extra decklid that comes with car.
