For Sale: 1951 Pontiac Chieftain, Excellent condition, Paint is very nice- no rust, Trunk, floors, frame, mounts etc all very clean. Flathead Six engine runs beautifully, smooth, Clean oil always, no leaks, no smoke, great compression, Shifts fine, Clutch and transmission are good, brakes are all good, exhaust is all good, lights, signals all work, (extra 3rd brake light added to rear window), Very nice interior, new door panels, seats are beautiful. I drive it often, Runs cool at 180 even on hot days in traffic. no leaks. Has under seat heaters. Horns work, Very good tires all the way around. A little play in the steering,A pleasure to drive. drives and stops straight. Only needs are headliner fabric (currently inside roof is painted grey) and driverside wing window glass, all other glass is fine, all windows operate as they should. A lot of Chrome, stainless on this car in very good condition. 6 volt system with 6 volt single wire alternator installed. Charges very good. A good clean ready to drive 1951 Pontiac.Gets a lot of attention. Thanks for looking, ask any questions. Vaccum wipers work great, Heater blower works great, Interior light works. I am including the original Generator and an extra spare fuel pump (nos glass bowl), and the metal ribs for the head liner fabric. There are NO gas leaks, antifreeze leaks, or oil leaks.
